Harley Brown came to the United States in 2003 with his stallion Blue Diamond, arriving here with his suitcase in one hand and his horse in the other. His initial plan was to show the horse and sell him, but after being here a short time, Harley decided that he would like to make the US his base.
The Pair had already won Championships in the 1.40m and 1.45m Divisions, but 1995 began his dream and started his World Cup campaign that has continued to encompass many years and several continents. Finishing the 2006 World Cup League qualifiers with points equal to the 4th placed US based combination, he was the reserve rider picked for the final in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
