HARLEY BROWN
After spending the early part of his career in his native Australia, Harley Brown moved to the United States in 2003 with a talented horse and a tireless ambition to reach the top level of international show jumping.
Harley has since swiftly made his way up the ladder, earning national and international recognition with a string of high-profile Grand Prix and World Cup Qualifier wins. Harley is a World Cup Finalist and has also represented Australia in multiple FEI Nations Cups. Harley has a straightforward teaching style and has seen his clients win in all of the jumper and equitation divisions, including training a Gold Medalist at the North American Young Rider Championships, a US Nations Cup Team Member, a World Cup Finalist, and a Maclay Finalist.
KAREN VAN DER BURGH
Karen van der Burgh has had extensive competition success starting from a young age in her native Cape Town, South Africa. As a Junior, she obtained her Provincial Colors for Equitation and Show Jumping and was ranked the #1 Junior Showjumper in South Africa from age 15 to 17 when she entered adult classes. Karen has won many CSI-W World Cup Qualifiers and qualified to ride in the 2001 FEI World Cup Finals in Liepzig, Germany.
Karen brings her passion for the sport into her training, implementing a system of positive reinforcement to bring out the best in both horses and riders. Having developed horses from a young age, Karen focuses on instilling confidence in horses and riders at every level.
